What we collect
When you leave a memory, LOTS may collect the memory you write, the fragrance that led you here, whether you chose public or private, the name or Instagram handle you voluntarily provide, your contact detail if you choose to receive benefits or updates, and the permissions you select.
How we use it
Your memory is stored in the LOTS Memory Archive. A memory is not displayed publicly merely because it was submitted. Public display requires your publication permission and separate LOTS editorial approval. Contact details are used only for the benefits or updates you choose to receive.
Private memories
If you choose the private route, the memory is not shown publicly. Contact details are never displayed in the public archive.
Films and campaigns
Permission to submit or publish a memory does not give LOTS blanket permission to turn your personal story into an advertisement, film or campaign. LOTS will ask separately before any such use.
Your choices
Submission consent, publication consent and marketing consent are separate. For requests about a submitted memory, contact LOTS through your normal customer-service or brand contact channel.
